Did you know that the harp was created in 7th generation from Adam? The harp was the first string instrument ever created.  The man who created it was named Jubal.  It has been used for thousands of years in times of celebration, praising, mourning, and especially for the soothing of the soul.

Emma started playing the piano at the age of 4 and the harp at the age of 8.  The very first time she put her fingers on the strings of a small lever harp back in 2013 out came the hymn Amazing Grace.  Since then, Emma’s talent has grown tremendously and so has her harp!

Currently, Emma performs solo pieces twice a year with the Christian Community Orchestra and plays regularly for church services.  She also plays for weddings, funerals, holiday events and other special occasions including for the Daughters of the American revolution as well as the Governor's mansion in December.  She has a heart for playing at retirement homes and for shut-ins.  Emma played at the Governor's Mansion at their Lighting of the State Tree event in 2018. She was the primary entertainment on the main floor and their first soloist.

Emma is being classically trained using the Salzedo method.  She loves classical arrangements, Irish/Welsh/Scottish style dances, and hymns.

She is under the instruction of Nella Rigell, principal harpist for the Atlanta Ballet.
